 | Welcome to the online Art Gallery of Fine art by artist Shannon Worden. Shannon is a self-taught outsider artist who resides in Western Kentucky. Shannon has been creating various forms of art throughout his life. He has also traveled all over the world for the better part of his life. He has had works on exhibition in places such as Germany, Italy, and various other locations throughout the United States. Having experienced many rich traditions and cultures, Shannon shares his art with you in many different styles and mediums, ranging from creative original abstracts to religious spiritual paintings to bright colorful outsider art. His cosmic abstract art full of circles and hard lines are just some of the styles you will uncover as you delve in to the unconventional world of Shannon's art.

 | About Me I'll try to keep this short and sweet. My Full name is Shannon Worden. I was born in Hawaii on August of 1978. A few years after my birth my parents moved to the mainland United States into Kentucky. From Kentucky we moved to Germany and back to Kentucky and on to Virgina and then off to Italy and finally we settled in Western Kentucky where I have lived since about the 7th grade. From a very young age, as young as I can remember. I was always creating something. I can still remember my first true inspiration to create art. A book titled, "Where the Wild Things Are," prompted me to create a monster mask out of a brown paper bag. Since then, I have always been drawing and painting although, in my youth I painted with cheap water colors due to the high cost of acrylics and oils. I have had my works on display in schools and a few publics functions in Germany and Italy as a child. My works have been sold throughout United States and I have also done commission works for over 2 years now. I am very thankful that I get to go about my life doing exactly what I enjoy and that is creating art. My mission from the very moment one views my art work is to have them feel as if they can forget their daily problems and become enraptured into each and every aspect of my art. Even if it is just for a moment.
